07Academic project, 2026
TMG Mart
A whole supermarket, shop floor to back office.
- What it is
- Full-stack, E-commerce
- Built with
- PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Stripe, HTML/CSS
- Where it lives
- Academic project — runs locally
The best parts
- Storefront with promotions, outlets, a rewards tier system and a 3D product view
- Stripe and cash-on-delivery checkout with live order and payment status
- An admin back office for products, orders, users, reviews and sales reports
- PHP, MySQL and payments wired into one loop that actually runs
How it came together
A complete online grocery store built as coursework — a real storefront with checkout AND an admin back office behind it. Not a mockup: it actually runs.
The problem
The brief was a functioning online store — not slides, not a static page. It had to handle real products, real orders, payments, and the staff side that keeps a shop running.
The approach
Build both halves of the loop: a customer storefront people can actually shop and check out on, and an admin back office to manage products, orders and see how the shop is doing.
How it’s built
PHP + MySQL storefront (products, promotions, outlets, a rewards tier system, even a 3D product view), Stripe and cash-on-delivery checkout with order history — plus an admin dashboard with products, orders, users, reviews and sales reporting.
What shipped
An end-to-end system that runs: place an order, pay, watch its status change, and manage the whole thing from the admin side. The database, the front-end and the payment flow all talk to each other.
What I took from it
How a real application actually connects — the front-end, the database, and the payment/admin logic are one system, not three separate assignments. Seeing the whole loop changed how I think about building.
